A wax seal is affixed to the back, reading, "Customs Permission" around the edges with an Asian character and emblem in the center. Although this cabinet is very sturdy and quite beautiful, it has sustained a variety of minor wear marks, which are evident in the photos accompanying this description. Still, these scuffs don't detract from the beauty of this piece but simply add to its antique charm.
